JORGE SALGUEIRO, compositor e maestro. É autor de mais de 280 obras entre as quais são de referir 11 óperas, 7 sinfonias, 2 fábulas sinfónicas e um requiem entre diversa música para orquestra, banda, coro, de câmara, para teatro, bailado e para crianças. Foi entre 2000 e 2010 compositor residente da Banda da Armada Portuguesa e entre 2017 e 2018 da Banda Sinfónica Portuguesa. Atualmente é membro da direção artística do grupo de teatrObando, compositor residente da Foco Musical e diretor artístico do Coro Setúbal Voz. É o maestro residente da ORQUESTRA SINFÓNICA DE LISBOA.

JORGE SALGUEIRO, composer and conductor. He is the author of more than 280 works, including 11 operas, 7 symphonies, 2 symphonic fables and a requiem among diverse music for orchestra, band, choir, chamber, theater, ballet and for children. He was the resident composer of the Portuguese Navy Symphonic Band (2000-2010) and the resident composer of the Banda Sinfónica Portuguesa (2017-2018) . He is currently a member of the artistic board of Obando Theatre Company, the artistic director of the Choir Setúbal Voz and the resident composer of Foco Musical Portugal. He is the resident conductor of the LISBON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA.

Concertino|Spalla

JOÃO PEDRO LIMA DE SOUZA é também o concertino da Orquestra Didática da Foco Musical desde 2018 em Portugal e no Brasil. Foi concertino da Orquestra Criança Cidadã – OCC até 2012. Na Orquestra Criança Cidadã, apresentou-se como para o Presidente Lula da Silva e para o Governador Eduardo Campos. Em 2011, foi pela primeira vez solista no Festival Virtuosi, no Recife. Como bolseiro do Rotary International, vai estudar para a Alemanha em 2013. Concluiu os estudos básicos na Escola Ginasial de Wüste. No Instituto de Música da Universidade de Osnabrück, cursou Bacharelato em Violino com o professor Silviu-Costin Agachi. Tocou na Orquestra Jovem da Universidade e na Orquestra Osnabrück Musik Freunde, como chefe de naipe. Protagonizou 5 reportagens na imprensa alemã, durante a sua estadia. Em 2016 regressa ao Brasil para estudar com português António Anjos (Recife) e com Clóvis Pereira. Foi professor assistente no Núcleo do Ipojuca até 2018. Gravou em Roma os Concertos de Bach para Violino e Orquestra, com a solista japonesa Yoko Kubo e no Vaticano apresenta-se para o Papa Francisco como solista em concerto de orquestra. Em 2016 toca em Nova York com a OCC nos 70 anos da UNICEF, na Sede da ONU. Especializou-se em Filosofia Suzuki, na Universidade Mayor do Chile. Atuou na Orquestra Sinfonietta da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco e na Orquestra Sinfônica do Recife. É o atual concertino da ORQUESTRA SINFÓNICA DE LISBOA.

JOÃO PEDRO LIMA DE SOUSA is also Orquestra Didática da Foco Musical concertino since 2018 in Portugal and Brazil. He was concertino of the Orquestra Criança Cidadã – OCC – Recife / BRAZIL until 2012. With the OCC, he presents himself to the President Lula and to the Governor Eduardo Campos. In 2011 he was a soloist for the 1st time during the Virtuosi Festival, in Recife. In 2013, Rotary International awarded him an exchange scholarship in Germany.

He has concluded his basic studies at Wüste Gymnasium School. At the Music Institute of the Osnabrück University he has made his bachelor in violin with professor Silviu-Costin Agachi. He played in the Youth Orchestra of the University and at Osnabrück Musik Freunde as head of the strings section. In the German press, he starred in 5 reports in the Osnabrück Zeitung and Aschaffenburg Zeitung newspapers. In 2016 he returned to studies at the OCC with Professors António Anjos (Portugal) and Clovis Pereira (Brazil). He was assistant professor at the Ipojuca Centre – Recife / Brazil until 2018. In 2014, he was the soloist at the Pope Francis orchestral concert in the Vatican. He was also the soloist in Portugal, in the concert for Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho.

In Rome, he recorded Bach’s violin and orchestra concerts with the violin soloist Yoko Kubo. In 2016 he played in New York, at United Nations Organization headquarters for the 70th anniversary of UNICEF. He has specialized in Suzuki Philosophie, at Chile Major University. He has played with Sinfonietta Orchestra of the Federal University of Pernambuco – Brazil and with Recife Symphony Orchestra – Brazil.

He is the office holder concertino of the LISBON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
